Reiki is a profound healing practice that channels universal life energy to promote balance, healing, and well-being on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels. The word "Reiki" is derived from Japanese, where "Rei" means universal and "Ki" means life force energy.

What is Reiki?

Reiki is based on the understanding that life energy flows through all living beings and that this energy can be harnessed to restore harmony and health. It works by laying hands lightly on or near the recipient’s body to channel healing energy, which helps to release blockages, reduce stress, and support the body's natural healing processes. Reiki is gentle and non-invasive, and it can be used alongside other treatments to enhance their effectiveness.

Level 1 Attunement
The Reiki Level 1 attunement introduces the practitioner to the basics of Reiki and involves learning to channel energy through their hands. During this level:

• Initiation: You will receive an attunement from a Reiki Master, which is a ritual that opens your energy channels, allowing you to connect with the universal life energy more effectively.
• Learning: You will be taught basic hand positions for self-healing and healing others, and how to use your hands to sense and direct energy.
• Practice: You'll gain practical experience by performing hands-on healing, and you'll also practice self-healing techniques to balance your own energy.

Level 2 Attunement

Reiki Level 2, also known as the Practitioner Level, deepens your connection to the energy and introduces new techniques:

• Advanced Attunements: You will receive additional attunements that enhance your ability to channel energy and increase its effectiveness.
• Symbols and Mantras: You will learn specific Reiki symbols and mantras that help to focus and amplify the energy. These symbols are used to perform distance healing and work with different aspects of energy.
• Distance Healing: You will be taught how to send Reiki energy over a distance, allowing you to heal people who are not physically present.
• Ethics and Professionalism: The level 2 training often includes guidance on ethical practice and how to offer Reiki professionally.

Heather Regal Salmon

Heather is a renowned trailblazing sound healer, mystic, cultural creative, and recording artist who has multi-faceted abilities to elevate human consciousness. 

An innovative pioneer in the field of sacred activism, spiritual transformation, and performing arts for over 25 years, she has produced dozens of popular sound healing journeys, and co-authored Amazing Woman Rise, and Lead, Amazing Woman, Lead book series. She also launched her own book, World Fusion Plant Based Soul Food Recipe Book.

As a Spiritual Teacher and High Priestess ordained in the Essene and Temple of Isis lineages, her mission on this Earth is to use her innate ability in helping people discover their true gifts, find their own sacred path, and heal from generational trauma and past life karmas through ritual, yoga, energy healing, communication, sustainability, and plant based lifestyle practices.  Heather was initiated into Usui Reiki in 2003.  Heather also holds a degree in Economics from the University of Toronto and has had several major career pivots beginning with an illustrious career as an international events producer with the NBA, then to a successful Hollywood actress and model, to finally stepping fully into her authentic life path of sacred service through the healing arts.

Donny Regalmuto

A true renaissance man, Donny is a certified Life Coach, Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, NLP, Emotional Freedom Technique, Thought Field Therapist and Reiki Master (2012). He uses the power of the musical keyboard to open up high frequencies that foster inspiration, healing, and spiritual awakening. 

Donny has a solid 25 years of commitment towards human evolution. He has produced spiritual and new age albums and dedicates his life to sharing healing music and harmonies in spiritual events, ceremonies, dances, and tantric pujas. 

He is an adept linguist of compassionate communication and is constantly integrating it into his tantric practice. He developed the code of "The Lovers Language".

Black Swan Temple has good cell service, and internet access is available in limited areas of the property, with additional hotspots in select locations. For the most nourishing experience, we gently encourage guests to embrace a digital detox during their retreat, allowing space for deeper presence, rest, and connection.

Book with or without accommodations.  Black Swan Temple has simple yet beautifully appointed Balinese cabins as well as a suite with a private bathroom. These cozy cabins are nestled in the tropical garden creating privacy for each. These cabins are somewhat rustic and have a shared bathroom and an outdoor shower. There is a lovely suite also available with its own private bathroom.  We do have internet, but no televisions or air conditioning.  There is a communal kitchen, office space, and a far infrared sauna, hot tub an mini gym that is also available for the guests. Classes and workshops take place in the beautiful sanctuary.

Maui Mystical Alchemy Retreats offers amazing world fusion plant based gourmet cuisine that will satisfy every traveler’s palate! We use the finest organic and as locally sourced as possible ingredients. The program arranges an exquisite vegetarian meal plan for you, starting with supper on the night of your arrival, followed by breakfast and hearty lunch daily and a dinner snack.

Payment Terms

A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your space.

The remaining balance is due no later than 30 days prior to the retreat start date.

• If a booking is made within 30 days of the retreat start date, the remaining balance is due within 48 hours of booking.

• Failure to pay the remaining balance by the required deadline may result in forfeiture of the deposit, and the reservation may be canceled without further notice.

Cancellations & Changes

Booking Platform Grace Periods

• BookRetreats.com bookings include a 72-hour grace period, during which the deposit is fully refundable. After this period, the deposit becomes non-refundable.

• BookYogaRetreats.com, RetreatGuru, and direct bookings do not include a refund grace period unless explicitly stated in writing at the time of booking. Deposits for these bookings are non-refundable.

Once a guest is added to the WeTravel platform, all remaining payments, credits, changes, and cancellations are governed by the policies outlined herein, regardless of the original booking source.

Changes to Booking Dates

• Booking dates may be changed if requested 7 days or more prior to the scheduled arrival date.

• A credit will be issued for future use.

• Rate changes may apply.

Cancellations or Changes Within 7 Days

• A $500 change fee applies to bookings canceled or changed within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date.

• Any remaining balance paid is non-refundable.

• A credit (minus the $500 change fee) may be issued for future use, subject to availability and rate changes.

Credits Policy

All credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and must be used within one (1) year of the originally scheduled arrival date. No extensions are guaranteed.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance to protect their investment in the event of cancellations, travel delays, illness, injury, or other unforeseen circumstances. Travel insurance may cover costs that are otherwise non-refundable under our cancellation and credit policies.

We are unable to make exceptions to our policies for circumstances covered by travel insurance. Guests assume full responsibility for securing appropriate coverage.

Private Membership Organization (PMA)

Black Swan Temple operates as a Private Membership Organization (PMA). Participation in retreats and offerings is limited to members and their invited guests. By completing a booking, you acknowledge and consent to participation within a private membership association.

Agreement & Authorization

By completing a booking and/or submitting payment through WeTravel, you acknowledge and agree to all payment, cancellation, change, credit, travel insurance, and PMA terms outlined herein. These terms constitute the final agreement and supersede any verbal or email communications. Payments retained in accordance with this policy are authorized.

It is each participant's responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding participation in the program which includes optional activities such as yoga and use of the spa and sauna, as well as for personal sessions that may include Energy Healing, and life coaching..  Participants should have no physical, mental, emotional, or other medical conditions that would prevent their full participation in the program and use of the facilities.  Further, The Black Swan Temple, Mystical Alchemy Retreats, Heather Salmon and Donny Regalmuto and support staff are not medical doctors and recommend that clients seek professional medical advice for any mental, emotional and physical ailments.
